We are Mike and Elaine Haines and established Canon Concrete Contractors, Inc. 25 years ago in Fremont County. In 1981 we moved from Chicago to Colorado Springs and started our construction venture. After 9 years in Springs we were eager to raise our family in a smaller community, and moved to Penrose with our daughter Kristie and son Mike. Working from our home, we have kept Canon Concrete Contractors a family business.

As accredited members of the Better Business Bureau, we have 40 years of experience in concrete!

Not only are we passionate about concrete we support our community. Over the years, we have been frequent supporters of youth and community programs such as CASA, the Fremont County 4-H Livestock Sale, Florence High School Wrestling and Football Programs, Penrose Apple Day, Belvedere Blue’s Festival, Orchard of Hope, Loaves and Fishes, Canon City Clock Tower and Create Canon City.
